Little bit of a change

So I have redone the "wedding blog" so that I can let everyone know what Thomas and I (and Killian too) have been up to. I think this will be my fun way of sharing special pictures and moments in our lives and have somewhere to store them all. And or course, a place where all of you guys can see what is really going on, since the phone calls are never enough!!

Mr. and Mrs.

So it is official.... and I can't believe how fast it went by.... BEST. DAY. EVER.



I know it has been forever and a day since I was on here, but for you girls (lindsay) that might still be checking this, I was thinking I may start a new blog. It may be fun wedding stuff that I hope you guys can use (in the future!!), or it might just be stuff that is going on in our everyday life. I had so much fun spending all that time with you girls, I realized that we sometimes don't stay in touch as much as we would like. Maybe blogs can do just that for us. Things are always better with pictures right??

Thanks for making our day super special. We love you to death.

24 more days!

The day is coming up so quickly! I hope to have most of our stuff done in the next two weeks, so I can enjoy the week leading up to the big day as much as possible. I am super excited because tonight I am headed here:

Lindsay is picking me up tonight and taking me to the Cape!! I can't wait to see her and all the rest of you girlies!! Lots of fun this weekend. Lets just hope I still love my dress as much as I did when I bought it (because I definitely haven't lost the lbs. I thought I was going to!!)- oh well!

How about this cute teal one?? If only it wasn't like $350.... oh and I bought another pair of shoes, just to see which ones looked better with the dress!! (beth don't kill me, I promise we can return the other ones if I don't wear them..... but who knows, maybe I will wear both!! haha)

flowers

So I found a link on weddingbee where ladies are talking about their experiences with fiftyflowers.com, where I will be ordering all our flowers from. All seemed to have good experiences. I also found a girl that made similar centerpieces with the same flowers. Take a look:

These are garden roses, mine will be all white, but similar idea. They look great and she said they were pretty easy- so it shouldn't be too bad. Just a lot of stems to cut once they arrive!

hair.... and flowers

So I am trying to figure out how I want to wear my hair.... and this is what I have come up with so far...... the front (except I don't have bangs). I want it airy, not super tight and hair sprayed


And this is sort of what I want in the back, except for with a different flower.



Not sure how it is going to look, any other ideas??? I would love to do some curls and wear it down, since I have let it grow, but that will last like .5 seconds before it frizzes up and we definitely don't want to see it after dancing- ahhhh!

I am not sure if the calla lilies we are ordering are the short stems or the long, but after seeing both of these photos, I don't really care. I love them both!!

getting stuff done

Trying to get everything finished up so I can sit back and enjoy! So while I head home to get some much needed stuff done, I will leave you with a teaser and link to a wedding by Kellie Kano- I can't wait to be having that much fun!!! GETTING SUPER EXCITED!!!

1. Meet with Brenda, our minister and go over details (this weekend)

4. Choose and order flavors for cakes
5. Programs - finalize what I want them to say (supplies this weekend)
6. Ribbons for flowers, vases and letters (this weekend)
7. Get wooden K and T (and maybe "I DO" for the cake table too)

9. SHOES!!!!!!!!! (hopefully this weekend at South Park!!!!)

Rehearsal

T ducks and his fam picked out our rehearsal dinner spot while I was up at Jay and Lynn's wedding! Captain Dave's Dockside! Sooo excited. It's on the marsh down in Murrells Inlet. LOVES IT. We may just need to go have a girly drink all by ourselves after- can anyone say DEAD DOG??


Oh... and james, you know james will be there to snap a few photos as well, picture perfect down on the Marshwalk!!

3 months from today...

This will be me (and us!!)!! I am super excited, but I came to the realization that it is officially freak out time (or as I would like to put it... Kerri flips out and becomes a raging maniac and complete bitch!YAY GET EXCITED)

Choc-o-late!

Hershey's special occasions is closing- and is taking 25% off all items. I totally think I should get these cute little JUST MARRIED kisses. 25lbs of chocolate for 188 bucks!! totally worth it right?? They would be so cute sprinkled on the tables in tucked in all the OOT bags!!!

Putting you maids to work

So after a fun filled night on Thursday (hopefully), I will be putting all of you to work. On Friday, the day before W day, we will be putting together flowers that I hope will look something like this:



The picture on the right will be put in the center of all our tables, surrounded by Teal glass voltives on black linens!!! YAY- get excited. I just may want us to put the bouquets together too!! Mom and Beth... you are included and you too Aunt Mary!!

Since we are going to have a bunch of desserts, rather than just one big cake, I didn't think a traditional cake topper would work. Maybe just a small "D"? How cute would it be if we could have a red sox and a brave?? Keep your eyes peeled and help me with ideas. How many cakes do you need for 150 or so guests??

Thomas is away...

T Ducks is away in Charlotte for work this week. So I am going to buy TONS of new wedding magz (since he refuses to let me buy anymore) and get down to bizz. Lots of details I need to get out of the way!! Oh and you should be getting something in the mail from me soon!!!

Destiny Lane

About a month ago, thomas and I were on our way home from the beach and decided to take a walk down memory lane.....


Us in front of 1696 Destiny Ln, where we met almost 6 years ago!!! (you would think Thomas would want to put some sunblock on... I can't tell you how many tomato face photos I have of him!!):)

I think that it would be really cute to get a black and white shot of the street sign to put on the guest book table. Then after W day, I can put it up in the house somewhere
